FORM I-131 (Application for Travel Document)-ADVANCE PAROLE:
The I-797C Notice of Action (NOA-1) for Ging's Advance Parole (AP):
FORM I-512L (Authorization for Parole of an Alien Into The United States
The form below is Ging's advance parole document which she never used til it expired.
NOTE: If you plan to travel outside US without your green card yet, you DO NOT need an advance parole if you are on a K3 visa. You can use your K3 visa (valid for 3 years) to travel in and out of the US and as long as you don't exceed the required length of stay outside US. Craig wanted to be always sure and didn't rely on taking risks, so we applied for it, LOL.

EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION DOCUMENT - (EAD)
Applying for an EAD wasn't part of the plan since Ging was not urgently looking for a job. But since she needed it for her Social Security number, we had to apply and get one. On the other hand, Ging's SSN was needed for the income tax joint filing as husband and wife.

SOCIAL SECURITY APPLICATION & DOCUMENTATION: (SSN)
Application Form for SSN:
Ging filled up and signed this form below at the Social Security office.
The confirmation letter from SSA confirming their receipt of Ging's application.
A follow up letter was sent by SSA telling that Ging's name is still not on their database, and that they still have to follow up USCIS. Although this seemed to be a little bit alarming at first, it was only a short wait and Ging got her SSN through the mail :).
