So, today is a gloomy and rainy day but didn't deter them to tow our Cavalier that has been unused for many years. We decided it's time for her to go. Would you believe it?...it has been on the driveway unused for 4 years! So, you could tell it on the photos above that the paint is deteriorating, plus we discovered some minor scratches on the windshield and on the side probably due to weather changes. The glove box compartment's latch was broken, making it unable to close. Craig had to tape it with a packing tape and tied a string unto the hook to make it close! Haaa! the sight looked so horrible after removing the tape. These are minor repairs we thought. Plus, the battery is just old. Other than those, it is still capable of running! But we decided to give it for a good cause. We now have only one car since I still am not driving. Besides, we don't need it right now..probably in the future when I get my DL. It wasn't a big deal letting it go, but there is one piece in the heart that went away! It has been a good friend for many years to, but on the other hand, we will be so happy to let her go with people who will need her most! Now, that's a feeling we could never buy! The act of helping people in any way we can...an act of giving back the blessings we have.

So, today, my order arrived in 2 separate boxes from Amazon! Kleenex, I should say is one big brand I couldn't just miss having. Price is a little bit more expensive than other brands but it's reasonable enough, talking about quality. I feel it's worth my money.
Anyway, I use kleenex regular tissues, but I happened to discover using the first Kleenex paper hand towels at mmy mom-in-law's house and they are pretty good. The big difference is that they don't flake off during use, unlike when I use regular tissues that tend to flake off a lot leaving behind lint that irritates my nose so often causing me to sneeze more often! I love those ones in the box. I tried getting those foldable paper towels wrapped in white paper which are good for using at the kitchen. I know some would still say using cloth hand towels are the best, but that's good if you are too crazy enough to wash them every now and then, lol! So far, I like them. The only downside for me is that I can't seem to find those kleenex hand towels (in a box) that easy in the stores close to me...the reason why I got them online. Much easier too! There's a minimal fee for the delivery and shipping but I don't mind! It's still much cheaper than buying a gas to roam around the neighborhood just to look for them! |
