Nov. 12-13, 2016
We saw some additional activities which we planned to try such as the waterball and the ATV. Our nephews were excited for the ATV's (they are well known for being highly adventurous and risk takers...they don't choose, as long as it is an active sport and any dangerous ones will do...ugh!!!). It drives me crazy getting nervous with them whenever they beg for you to let them do this or that! LOL!
We didn't fit in one car (we were 7), so we hired a van to go out of town going to the farm to drop us off, and to pick us up the next day.
Since it was the weekend, it was crowded when we arrived at the farm. After checking-in, we tried to reserve for the ATV's and the waterball activities only to discover that both were not available! It was disappointing to know because their website didn't tell us they were not available. Again, lessons learned!!!; - we should have called them first prior to coming.
One good thing left though was that we still have to visit the meditation tunnel and the simulated glimpse of heaven. ;) Afterall, that was one major reason why I and Craig wanted to visit.
We ended up feeding the birds that day and then watching the turkey parade and goat feedings too! The group did some boating, after which we had our late lunch at the farm's restaurant.
We checked out late morning the next day after breakfast, and the van picking us was right on time. We then requested the driver if he could drop us by at Miag-ao church. The mass was already over when we arrived at the church, although a few crowds were still there. We were able to take a group photo of us right at the church entrance, and some more shots inside the church.
Then we all went back home tired and sleepy! Still, as usual, tired or not, every trip is worthily cherished with the family.
